Royal Chelsea was a company in Staffordshire, England, which began in 1912 as the New Chelsea Porcelain Company and then became New Chelsea China Company in 1951, recognising the changes in materials used in their goods since the 1930s.
New Chelsea also made Chelsea China in the 1930s and Royal Chelsea in the 1940s until the pottery closed in the 1960s. Their quality and workmanship were outstanding, with lots of handmade things and excessive enamel paint.
