The saucer is 10,5 cm high, 19 cm long and 9,5 cm large.
By 1964, Ridgway had become a subsidiary of the new Allied English Potteries which then merged with Royal Doulton in 1972. During this period, Ridgway Potteries was one of the largest pottery companies with eight earthenware and porcelain factories.
